Historic Trolley Cables Stolen in Yakima

YAKIMA, Wash.- One of the main tourist attractions in Yakima is being victimized by thieves. They're stealing copper cable used to run Yakima's Historic Trolley Line from Yakima to the Selah gap. About 14-thousand feet have gone missing, amounting thousands of dollars lost.

The trolley line is operated by the Yakima Electric Railway Museum. Officials there say they don't have the budget to replace the stolen wire.
