Pasco High School Students Learn About Internal Combustion Engines

PASCO, Wash. - Wrapping up the school year felt good for a hundred ninth grade students from Pasco High School.

Students teamed up to design and create a flying object out of recyclable household items.

The project was designed to teach students about internal combustion engines, using English, Math, Science, History, Art and Physical Education.

The students were eager to show off their flying contraptions after all the hard work that went into them.

The project took about three weeks to finish. About fifty different flying contraptions flew today, which had their teacher happy, because this was the first project the school has done like it.
