KENNEWICK, Wash. - Imagine being told your four year old has terminal brain cancer. That's the horror facing one Richland family.
Aidan Mikel Zaugg was diagnosed a month ago. Doctors say the average patient lives 12 months, but his family and community are doing everything possible to help.
Sunday, hundreds gathered for a fundraiser in front of Area Codes,a cell phone repair shop in Kennewick.
Hundred percent of the proceeds go to research. Steve Osmonson, organizer of fund raiser said, "I have a four year old son as well which is the same age as Aid an and it really makes you think when you're a parent and even if you're not a parent, it just makes you want to help with something like this cause he just got diagnosed a month ago."
There were raffles, music and games at the fundraiser. Aidan's family says they're not giving up hope.
