Police Look for Suspects in Gang Shooting that Injures Pregnant Teen
YAKIMA, Wa - Yakima Police say a pregnant 17-year-old girl is going to be fine after she took a bullet to the shoulder -- in what they're calling a gang-related shooting.
Right now, police are looking for suspects.
The shooting happened last night, shortly after midnight, at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Tair avenue. Police say rival gang members walked up to this apartment and fired several shots through the living room window. They then took off in an unknown vehicle southbound on Fair Ave.
The victim was reportedly sitting in the living room watching television. Police say her brother is a known gang member and the intended target.
Police say there were not eyewitnesses and the shooting victims are not being cooperative.
