YAKIMA, Wash. - All the rain over the last two weeks is giving hay growers here in the Yakima Valley a headache.
Initially, it helped them with irrigation, but now they're having problems harvesting their crops.
Many growers have been trying to wait out the rain.
They have gotten four times as much rain as normal this month.
Now, hay growers have to start mowing down their fields, or risk over maturing their crops.
The problem is that there is more rain in the forecast this weekend and that'll make it harder for the hay to dry out.
