Zillah teacher put on administrative leave

ZILLAH, Wash. - The Zillah School District will wait for evidence before deciding if they will fire a high school teacher facing child pornography charges.

The district's superintendent tells KNDO that the teacher, Ron Nash, is currently on administrative leave with pay.

The district has been cooperating with the investigation, and Nash will remain on administrative leave until they receive evidence that gives them cause for his termination.

Nash was officially charged Wednesday afternoon in Federal Court with transporting child pornography over the Internet as well as possession of child pornography.
