Both Palomarez and Guerrero had Nash as a teacher for their welding class, and even though they say Nash may have been a strict teacher, he was never mean.
The students learned about the charges against Nash last night, as they watched our newscast.
"It surprised me, you know we had a teacher in our school," said Palomarez.
"I didn't think he was capable of doing something like that," said Guerrero.
Thursday is Zillah High School's last day of school and as Palomarez and Guerrero make plans for their summer vacation, Guerrero doesn't think he will see Nash in the hallway next fall.
"I don't think he's going to be back," said Guerrero. "I don't think he's going to be here."
