Ten arrested in illegal gambling raid

TOPPENISH, Wash. - Ten people are facing charges after Toppenish Police raid a local bar and grill.

It happened Shorty's Bar and Grill in Toppenish around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Toppenish Police, The State Liquor Control Board and The State Gambling Commission worked together on this undercover investigation.

They raided the bar for illegal gambling, liquor violations and narcotics sales.

The ten suspects and bar owner face several charges that deal with liquor and gambling violations, and several of those gambling charges are felonies, police said.
