Armed Robbery At Local Motel

RICHLAND, Wash. - A couple outside a local motel is robbed at gunpoint.

It happened in Richland early Tuesday morning and police want your help to find the suspects.

Imagine you just pull into a parking lot late at night and before you have time to take your keys out of the ignition you see someone is pointing at gun at your head. That's exactly what happened to Joshua Jacobs and Tabitha Stueckle from Omak around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The couple pulled into the parking lot of the Motel 6 near the end of Columbia Center Boulevard, when two suspects ran up to the car, put a gun to Jacobs' head and demanded money. One man grabbed Jacobs' wallet and keys, then both men ran away.

Police said the couple didn't try to struggle with robbers and officers recommend, if you're ever in the same situation, you should do the same thing.

"Property can be replaced, but your life and the life of your loved ones that might be with you, can not," said Sgt. Dan Phillips, Richland Police Department.

Police are still looking for the robbers. Here's their description, the first man is a Hispanic male around 20 yrs old, 5'9" with a thin build. The second man is a white male also around 20 yrs old and 5'9" with a thin build. Both were last seen at the motel around at 2:30 Tuesday morning.

If you have any information call Richland Police.
