Cherry growers worry about picker shortage

ZILLAH, Wash. - The state's cherry harvest is now in full swing.

Growers in the Tri-Cities area started harvesting their crop about two weeks ago, and growers here in the Yakima Valley will start sometime in the next few days.

However, some growers are concerned that there won't be enough pickers when the cherry harvest peaks around July 4th.
