KENNEWICK, Wash - 24-year-old Jesus Perez-Gaspar fell to his death at a construction site early Monday morning, according to Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Benton County Sheriff's Deputies said he was working on the trim of the roof at a home on 47th and Oak in Kennewick, when he stepped onto a section that wasn't secure, and fell to the ground.
The owner of the home said that piece of roof only had one nail in it. The owner said Adaptive Homes is working on the project, and it was contracted out to Master Construction.
Benton County Coroner, Floyd Johnson said it appears Perez-Gaspar landed on his head, fractured his skull and broke his neck.
