Death Considered Accidental

RICHLAND, Wash. - New information about a Richland woman who died after falling out of a window. Her death surprised even the county coroner.

The Benton County Coroner just completed the autopsy for Kimberly Clark a few hours ago. He said she bled to death from a cut on her right leg.

It happened Monday night at 1547 Ridgeview Court in Richland. The county coroner suggests she was standing, one leg on top of her television and the other leg on top of her tv tray. Apparently her foot broke through a nearby window. The coroner said she made the cut worse trying to pull her foot out of the glass. The coroner doesn't think Clark was trying to fight someone off, but he was amazed at the shear size of her wound.

"I've seen glass cuts before, but that was just so massive it was almost half way through the leg."

Richland police are still investigating what happened. But right now officers don't consider anyone a suspect or a person of interest.
