PASCO, Wash. - The search is on for the man who police said shot a woman to death Tuesday afternoon in her North Owen Street home in Pasco.
The women's children were inside the home at the time of the crime. On Tuesday, police said they were safe in custody. Investigators combed the crime scene and are currenlty interviewing witness as they search for leads. Three bullet holes on the side of the house lead detectives to use metal detectors to search for spent shell casings.
They hope the casings will help identify a murder weapon. Neighbors living near the home said there were always a lot of people coming and going from the house, but did not know if the activity was connected to the killing. The Franklin County Coroner said he is still working to identify the woman. He plans on releasing her identity Wednesday.
