YAKIMA, Wa - 150 soldiers from the National Guard's 790th Chemical Company in Grandview will be getting a big send-off this weekend.
They have received orders to serve overseas in Iraq.
A ceremony has been scheduled for this sunday at Country Park, next to the National Guard Armory in Grandview. The entire company will be there 1pm.
The 790th Chemical Company will be leaving on Monday for Camp Shelby, Mississippi where they will undergo training for six months. Then it's off to Iraq for about 12 months.
