Police stop criminals in their tracks

UNION GAP, Wash. - Union Gap Police have a new tool that will help stop criminals in their tracks.

Several police officers practiced using the spike strips Tuesday afternoon in a mock high speed chase.

The strips will help to limit the speed of criminals during a high speed chases, said Gregory Cobb, sergeant with the Union Gap Police Department.

The spike strips cost about $3,500 and every marked Union Gap Police car will have one.
