YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Salvation Army's day camp program is out of money, so the organization plans to roll out "Christmas in July."
Starting this Friday, they'll put out red kettles at Wray's grocery stores in Yakima. The Salvation Army has operated a camp at Milroy Park for the last 16 years. This is the first year they haven't had enough money to do it.
A similar day camp, put on by Parks and Rec, is still going on at the park. It's free if you'd like your child to participate.
