According to the National Weather Service temperatures are expected to be between 100 and 110 degrees this weekend.

According to the Department of Transportation, work on the new Yakima River Bridge is going to start earlier in the day to keep workers out of the heat.
The DOT is going to even cut some of their workers shifts from ten hours to eight hours a day and make sure everyone stays hydrated.
