Benton County, Wash. - A local woman said a man forced her into his car and sexually assaulted her.
Right now, the case has been handed over to a detective who said it's going to be a very difficult investigation.
The detective said part of the reason the case will be difficult to investiate is because the alleged victim is not giving much information to investigators.
Over the weekend, a woman claimed she was forced by gunpoint into a car on 7th and Morain in Kennewick and raped her two times. The victim claims she was dropped off at the Tri-City Raceway, but did not have any descriptive details on the attacker.
She is not cooperating with Benton County Sheriff's Detectives or allowing them access to evidence on her or her belongings.
The head of detectives said they have to deal with every case as a legitimate one but they do have a lot of questions surrounding the alleged attack.
