Hot temperatures cause damage to tires

YAKIMA, Wash. - The hot temperatures around the valley could be damaging the tread on your tires.

During this time of year, tire tread can come off and cause a "blow out," said tire experts at the Yakima Les Schwab.

Most tires are designed for any kind of weather condition including hot weather, but tire experts suggest that you get your tires rotated regularly so you can avoid dangerous blow outs.

They also suggest to check the air pressure in your tires because low pressure can also cause more wear and damage to your tires.
