Prosecutors Prepare for Tucker's Trial

KENNEWICK, Wash. - On the anniversary of the deaths of Linda and Danielle Moreno the final person charged in connection with the deaths gets ready to go to trial.

Benton County Prosecutors claim Mark Tucker drove the get away car for Moran and was later charged with rendering criminal assistance.  The crime carries a maximum of five year in prison.

Tucker did talk to KNDU while in the Benton County Jail.  He said he was in the car while Moran shot and killed the Morenos, but that is something detectives are working hard to disprove.

If prosecutors could prove Tucker was in the Moreno's home when James Moran committed murder they could potentially charge him with a more serious crime.

Tucker goes to trial at the end of the month.

James Moran was suspected of shooting his inlaws in 2004 and killing the Morenos in 2005.  He shot and killed himself last August after police in Vancouver, Washington cornered him.
