Warning for bicyclists on I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass
SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash.- If you have plans to bike on Snoqualmie Pass, there's a couple things you need to know. Right now the Department of Transportation is working to stabilize roadside slopes 14 miles east of the Snoqualmie Summit.
Snoqualmie Pass has a challenging bike route for serious cyclists. D.O.T. hesitates to close the bike pass due to lack of alternate routes. Construction crews have put highly visible signs and made adequate space for bicyclists passing through the stabilization project. Bicyclists will be directed to walk their bikes behind the protective barrier through the work zone.
