Man hits deputy patrol car

BURBANK, Wash. - Washington State Troopers think drinking and driving might have caused a man to crash into a patrol car.

It happened around two o'clock this morning on Highway 124.

Troopers report that Bradley Smith lost control of his ford pick-up, hit a cement fence and a Walla Walla County Sheriff's patrol car. 26-year-old Smith was treated and released from Kadlec Medical Center.

Authorities said his ford pick up was totaled.  The trooper was not injured but his patrol car had about five thousand dollars worth of damage.
