KENNEWICK, Wash - It was just a couple of weeks ago when the Kennewick American 10 year old team left for Lafayette, Louisiana with a 30-1 record, heading to the Cal Ripken World Series.
The team came home this afternoon all smiles and pride, boasting a huge third place trophy at their welcome home bar-b-que. This great group of kids say they had a wonderful time getting to experience a new place, new accents, and some new wildlife. All the kids said they loved seeing alligators! Of course they added, winning third place wasn't too bad either.
