YAKIMA, Wash. - The Yakima city Council is expected to make a final decision regarding a proposed Wal-Mart in west valley.
This comes after the city council remanded the decision back to the Yakima Hearing Examiner in April. The city council requested clarification on two specific items, noise standards and the Airport Safety Overlay.
The hearing examiner gathered hours of testimony from the community and re-issued his decision back to the city council last month.
The public hearing will be on Tuesday, August 29th at 6 p.m. at the at the Yakima Convention Center in room D.
