Apple harvest looks better than ever

YAKIMA, Wash. - Good prices and a high demand could make this year's apple crop one of the best.

According to the Washington Apple Commission, most of the apples kept in storage from last year have already been sold. This will make the price and the demand for quality apples the highest the Apple Commission has seen in two years.

Washington is expected to pick more than 94 million boxes of apples this year.
