KENNEWICK, Wash. - The high gas prices and growing population of students, has the Kennewick School District deciding to consolidate bus stops. With the change, they hope to conserve fuel and save money.
The last time the bus routes were revamped was back in 1997. Buses may now be picking up students at street corners, instead of making two to three stops at individual addresses within a block.
If you want to know if the location of you're child's bus has changed, the Kennewick School District says to stop by your child's school for a list of bus stops.
