COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wash. - A huge air-tanker continued to dump retardant over 66,000 acres of land in Columbia County.
Officials with US Forest Service said the Kay Hill Mountain area has the most fire activity and said the total the fire is 10-percent contained.
Firefighters from as far as Virginia are there trying to help clean up the massive burn.
Authorities report almost 750 personnel on scene. Flames are visible and fire officials said things have not changed that much since yesterday.
Officers from the US forest service said the weather is not working against them and do not know how long this could last.
