COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wash. - It is an international effort. Firefighters from Australia, New Zealand and Canada are helping to get the Columbia Complex Fire under control.
Almost 82,000 acres of have burned and about 25 percent of the fire is contained.
Roads and trails within the Umatilla National Forest which is north of the Washington State Border will remain closed throughout the holiday weekend.
