Columbia Complex Fire Still Growing

DAYTON, Wash.- The Columbia Complex fire is still growing.

The nearly 90,000 acre fire is only 25-percent contained, but crews are working hard to put down new firelines.

Protecting structures remains the priority as firefighters work to protect the Bluewood Ski area.

They have a permit to use motorized equipment in the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness.

Some parts of the Umatilla National Forest are now open, but most of it is still closed.
