KGH Seeks Community Input On Expansion Project

KENNEWICK, Wash - Kennewick General Hospital is undersized by about 60 thousand square feet, said KGH Director of Business Development and Marketing, Theresa Long.

So, an outreach program has been developed to find out what community members want to see in the hospital's future.

The hospital is going to expand, but they want to base the expansion on what the patients and community wants, Long said.

KGH has 15 acres at the current location, 40 acres near southridge, and some land at Vista Field. If another campus is built, KGH leaders want to know what services people still want at KGH on Auburn Street.

KGH leaders are asking for groups to get together and schedule appointments to learn about the overcrowding problem, so they can give input.

You can email Theresa Long from the link on this story, or, you can call her at 585-5949.
