COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wash. - As the Columbia Complex fire continues, over 101,000 acres of land has burned.
Fire officials report that recent winds have caused minor burning over some fire lines. It is 55 percent contained.
There is some good new, cold front brought a cooler air mass to the fire today.
Burnout operations to protect Ski Bluewood and the Mill Creek Watershed are nearly complete.
Costs to fight the blaze are totaling more than 20-million dollars.
