Kennewick Suspect Arrested for Stabbing

KENNEWICK, Wash. - A man is behind bars tonight after police suspect he stabbed a teen outside of Taco John's in Kennewick.

The CAT team surrounded Kennewick General Hospital and 18-year-old Silvino Aguilar of Pasco surrendered to police.

It happened around 10:30 Friday night.  At one o'clock this morning Aguilar's family told police he was being treated at the hospital for injuries related to the fight and said he was ready to turn himself in.

Police also arrested 25-year-old Raul Espinoza and they think he was also involved in the fight.

Kennewick Police Sgt. Randy Higgins said, "The Kennewick Police Department wants to work with the community to make sure this type of situation is stopped as soon as possible."

The 17-year old boy that was stabbed is getting better.  Police do not know why the fight broke out but said their investigation continues.
