YAKIMA, Wash. - If you normally travel on Mead Avenue in Yakima, you'll need to take an alternate route until Friday.
Construction of sewer lines for a church, masonic temple and condos have closed Mead Avenue near 24th Avenue.
City construction supervisor Bruce Floyd said there are detours at both Lila and Karr Avenues.
Superior Paving is working on the road from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Floyd said the road will open up during night hours.
