Guaranteed Education Tuition Program Starts Up

RICHLAND, Wash. - It is known as the GET Program, or Washington's Guaranteed Education Tuition Program, and it is starting up for its ninth year.

The program allows parents to pay for their kid's college tuition now and avoid constantly rising prices.  You can also take that value you pay and use it anywhere, whether in state, out of state, or a private institution, it doesn't matter.

How it works is parents can buy shares of a tuition at today's rate for the most expensive public university in Washington then use it when their child goes to school, any school and anywhere.

Around sixty-six thousand kids are enrolled in the program right now and parents say it makes paying for college a lot easier.  You can buy credits at this years rate until March 31st, 2007.
