YAKIMA, Wa - Dropout rates have decreased significantly at Yakima's High Schools.
The Yakima School District says its made tremendous progress in a short time. The latest numbers available are for the 2004-2005 school year.
Davis High School's drop out rate went from 12.6% in 2003-2004 to 3.8% next year. That 's about a 9% improvement. Eisehower High School is also making significant strides. Its dropout rates decreased more than 3%.
