RICHLAND, Wash.- For the first time in its history, the Volpentest HAMMER Training Center opened its doors to the public Friday.
HAMMER held its first open house.
More than 100 people turned out for tours, demonstrations and a tribute to its namesake, Sam Volpentest.
Officials said there has been high demand for tours in the past, so they decided they would open it up for the day.
They say if demand stays high, this could become an annual event.
