Yakima, Wash -- "Its my life's dream to fly," said Avery Goodell.
The Experimental Aviation Association in Yakima has been fulfilling dreams like Avery's for over 15 years.
Once a year, they open their planes to strangers and take young boys and girls for flights around Yakima.
Each child in the free program goes through a small ground school, and after learning thebasics of flying, they then get to go up for about 30 minutes with local pilots.
For Lynn Harden, its all about helping to promote flying and aviation. "By exposing kids to aviation," said Harden, "it gives them an an opportunity, where quite a few of them have gone onto take flight training."
