Mid Columbia Duck Race Becomes Family Fall Frolic Festival

Kennewick, Wash - The Mid Columbia Duck Race has now expanded to become Family Fall Frolic Festival, which will include a fun run, food, activities and entertainment. There will also be a duck sand sculpture in Columba Park.

It will take place Saturday, October 7th .  The festival will begin with a one mile race at 9 a.m. and 5k and 10k races at 9:30 a.m. at the east end of Columbia Park.  Proceeds benefit the Bethlehem Lutheran School.

At noon, the Mid Columbia Duck Race will begin.  Ducks cost five dollars each. Proceeds benefit the Tri Cities Rotary. The first prize duck wins a 2007 Toyota Camry.
