YAKIMA, Wash. - The Jitter Bean espresso stand on South First Street became the latest robbery victim in Yakima on Monday night.
A white man in his 20's, wearing a red sweatshirt and a green baseball cap, approached the shop and threatened the barista with a knife.
After ordering coffee, he entered the stand and grabbed an unspecified amount of cash.
The suspect then took the woman down the street and told her that he knew about the other robbery that happened on Saturday.
The suspect eventually let her go, as he fled the scene.
The woman was shaken but unharmed.
Jitter Bean owner Ron Fadness said he's going to shorten the hours of operation for his stand and he's going to make the size of his order windows smaller.
Yakima Police Sergeant Chad Stephens said the two robberies are similar and could be connected.
The first one happened on Saturday at the Dreams of Paradise coffee stand on South Fair Avenue.
In that robbery, the woman was held at knife point by two men and the suspects took an unspecified amount of cash.
Police are still investigating both incidents.
