Teen charged in arson fire

YAKIMA, Wash. -   A 15 year-old boy has been charged with 2nd Degree Arson after setting a fire near a middle school.  

According to The Yakima Fire Department, the fire started on Saturday night just after 6 p.m. near Franklin Middle School.

The fire was the result of the boy setting off fireworks in a dumpster, said fire investigators.

 The fire caused about $500 in damage.
