WSU Seeks Public Input in Search for President

Kennewick -- The search for a new president at Washington State University is underway, and the University is looking for public input.

The man currently at the helm, V. Lane Rawlins, is stepping down in 2007.  Now a search committee has been formed to find his successor.  It has set up two forums in the Tri-Cities in order to hear from the public about what it wants in a University head.

Two forums are scheduled for Friday, October 13.  One will be held in the East Building of the University campus off George Washington Way in Richland in room 208.  The second takes place at 5:30 p.m. in the East Auditorium, room 166.
