Senator Murray Talks About 'No Child Left Behind Act'

YAKIMA, Wash. - Senator Patty Murray discussed possible improvements to the 'No Child Left Behind Act' with educators in Yakima on Monday.

Murray said now she'll go back to Washington D.C. with a better understanding of the needs of school districts in the Yakima Valley.

She also said many changes need to be made to the 'No Child Left Behind Act' and that roundtable discussions will help get the process started.

Senator Murray said the 'No Child Left Behind Act' is likely headed for change when congress reconvenes after the first of the year.
