KENNEWICK, Wash. - Van's jewelry store was broken into early Tuesday morning. The store's alarm system was activated at 2:39. Kennewick Police say they responded within two miniutes, but by the time they arrived the thiefs were gone.
This store has been robbed before, with theives entering through the front door. It appears this time, theives entered through a window. The owner of Van's says between $20,000 and $30,000 worth of watches were stolen.
The inside of the store was vandalized. Jewelry cases were tipped over and decorative items within the store were broken.
