Campaign schedules are getting busy as candidates prepare for the November election.
After visiting Spokane and Seattle on Monday, Republican Senate candidate Mike McGavick stopped in the Tri Cities.
McGavick spoke about his debate with Maria Cantwell that is scheduled for Tuesday. He said his main focus will be the national debt, defeating terrorists in Iraq so they don't come here, and reforming Social Security, but not by privatization.
Maria Cantwell supporters stood outside where he was speaking at Visa Field in Kennewick with signs showing their support for her.
The debate will air on KNDU-TV at 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
