YAKIMA, Wash. - At the Yakima City Council meeting, people who live on 85th and Kail Drive in Yakima asked the city for help with sewer improvements.
On Tuesday, they discussed an ordinance that would give the area a local improvement district tag.
That would save the people some money.
If they choose to do the improvements privately, it'll cost them around $13,000.
Berel Isaacs, a resident on 85th and Kail Drive said not everyone is in agreement about the issue.
The people of 85th and Kail Drive will have a meeting to discuss the proposal
Then they'll head back to City Hall to meet with the councial to finalize the plans.
