Students Learn about Business and Compete in Competition

YAKIMA, Wash -- The next Donald Trump might be right here in Yakima.  Students in at West Valley High School are competing in a semester long Apprentice competition.

The students in Tom Robinson's marketing class are broken up into groups, and they have to complete business challenges just like in the TV show.

For the third challenge, the students have to design a toy. Today, they presented their designs to first graders at Cottonwood Elementary. The elementary students will vote and decide which design they like best.

The winning group moves on in the competition.  The final twelve students are competing for 250 dollars.
