RICHLAND, Wash.- More changes are coming on State Route 240 between Kennewick and Richland.
Access to Richland from SR 240 through George Washington Way will close Saturday.
However, the northbound side of 240 will reopen between Columbia Center Boulevard and George Washington Way for a few days before they close down the usual southbound side for repaving.
And access to the 240 bypass and Pasco on 240 will reopen.
Also, paving on Jadwin near George Washington Way is expected to be finished by sometime next week.
The Department of Transportation tells me the 240 project is about six months ahead of schedule it should be done sometime this spring.
