KENNEWICK, Wash - The Tri-City Americans 5-game home winning-streak has been snapped by the Medicine Hat Tigers. Medicine Hat withstood a late surge by the Tri-City Americans to hold on for a 3-2 Western Hockey League win Sunday at Toyota Center. The Tigers, who have won five straight, held a 3-1 lead until late in the third when Erik Felde scored his second of the game at 17:09. Derek Dorsett, Tyler Swystun and Colton Grant scored for Medicine Hat, while Matt Keetley finished with 18 saves. Chet Pickard had 24 saves for the Americans, who saw their five-game home win streak snapped. The Americans (9-3) remain in second in the U.S. Division one point behind Everett and are idle until Wednesday night when they host the Kamloops Blazers at 7:05 pm.
