Pacific Northwest National Lab Receives Hydrogen Fuel Cell Funding

RICHLAND, Wash.- Pacific Northwest National Laboratory recieves nearly $6 million in funding for hydrogen fuel cell research.

The money is part of $100 million given out nationwide by the Department of Energy.

It's part of the President's Energy Independence Initiative.

They'll use the money to develop better cathode supports and microchannels for the cells, and try to drive down the cost.
