Oregon State Police continue to pull over more drivers who are travelling at speeds of 100 miles per hour or more.
Just last week Oregon Police pulled over a motorcycle travelling at 132 miles per hour.
Over the first 6 months of this year, they have given out 258 100-plus citations, a 19 percent increase from last year. Police say that young drivers are most often to blame.
The patrol is now using four unmarked agressive driving vehicles to target the really excessive drivers but still warn drivers about the dangers of high speed driving.
Oregon State Police say the excuse for high speeds varies. They say people must allow more time when driving and remember the danger they are causing to themselves or others.
